zuhra azraq

"Zuhra azraq" is "blue flower" in Arabic. The Blue Flower is a little known book authored by Henry Van Dyke. I came upon this over 100 year old book while perusing a small thrift store in Burlington, Vermont. There it was - a blue dusty cover, with thick, uneven, yellowed pages.
Although there may be a number of interpretations regarding The Blue Flower, I have been inclined to believe that the blue flower represents a yearning to find something greater. A true love and respect for this world and a desire to explore the unknown in the search for that greater something.
If you would like to read The Blue Flower, it can be found in full text at: http://etext.lib.virginia.edu/toc/modeng/public/DykBlue.html.
I highly recommend THE SOURCE. Quite a touching story I think.

Yes. It's in the name Sal Paradise. "When You wish upon a Star makes no difference who you are your dreams will come true."
